Trondheim International Dog Show June 8th 2008

Together with good friends we spent some very nice days in Trondheim participating in the annual International Dog Show. I brought Keanu with me so that he could meet with his breeder and dog family again and he seemed to enjoy it very much :)

In the show both Diamond and Sonny got cc and became 2nd best male in their breeds and they both got res.cacib with great critics. Judge for the Cotons were Anne-Mari Haugsten from Norway, while Marion Spavin from England judged the Havanais.

We look forward to coming back to Trondheim for the Dog Festival in August.

National dog show in Ålesund 25 May 2008

Today it was time for the annual show here in Ålesund.  Judge was Wera Hübenthal.
Sonny got CC and his 3rd BOB this year while his daddy Dennisd, 10 years old, got 2nd best male and later on 4th in the BIS Veteran Show.
Diamond was the only out of six havanais males to get a cc and became BOS.

Show weekend at Stange 26-27 April 2008

It became a rather strange weekend in Stange where I attended the dogs to participate in the dog show on April 26 and 27.  On the first night I was there I got sick and could not go to the show at all, however thanks to dear friends who brushed and got the dogs ready for the shows, and even showed them there, at least my dogs got some very good results.  Thank you so much to Stine, Heidi and Liv for all your help, you are very unique!!  Also thank you to my friend Tove who drove me and my car the long way home to Ålesund afterwards!!
Then, the results;
Dimond got BOB out of 15 Havanais on Saturday and 2nd best male on Sunday.
Mascot, only 11 months old, got a cc and ended up as 4th best male both days!!
Sonny, like Diamond, got BOB on Saturday and 2nd best male on Sunday!!

NKK Bergen 2008

Sonny Norwegian Champion in Bergen

I got a fabulous start of the season.
In Bergen Sonny got cc, cac, Norwegian Champion, cacib and BOB
judge was Hassi Assenmacher from Germany:
"Correct size, nice head prop, maskuline express, black nose and eyerims. Round dark eyes. correct ears, good body - nice topline, good dept of chest - correct front, well angulated behind, hindmovements a bit close, excellent coat, nice temp."

His father Dennis who is almost 10 years old completed the success and
became 2nd best male with CC, he also became BOB Veteran
"Almost 10 years old in excellent condition, nice head, maskuline express. Dark eyes - nose a bit light - good ears, excellent body in all details, still good moves, nice coat and temp.
A big compliment to the owner of this dog."

My youngster Mascot made his debut in the junior class, got a 1 prize and
prize of honor. Judge Ritva Raita from Finland:
"10 months male with good head and bite, a bit loose in front and front movements, good back, hindmovements should be more powerful, good tail."
